Jennifer Lopez has been “hit hard” by her bombshell divorce from Ben Affleck, according to a report.
The “On The Floor” hitmaker, 55, filed for divorce from the Oscar winner on Aug. 20 despite not wanting to pull the plug on their two-year marriage.
After ending their ill-fated romance for good, sources claim that the mom of two is “upset and disappointed with” the Hollywood filmmaker, especially after he initiated their reconciliation.
“It’s really hit her hard,” a source told People of the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” hitmaker. “She’s very upset and disappointed with Ben.”
The insider added that the “Jenny From the Block” singer isn’t comfortable living in their plush $60 million Beverly Hills mansion, which the couple snapped up together in May.
“She and Ben bought the house for the whole family. It’s way too big for her and filled with too many memories as well,” the source added.
While Lopez hasn’t been seen in public since news of the pair’s divorce, Affleck has been spotted out and about in Los Angeles a handful of times.
The “Air” director appeared giddy while grabbing his Jack in the Box order from a delivery driver at his Brentwood, Calif., rental home over the weekend.
Sources close to Lopez claim that she’s feeling “relieved” after the divorce filing despite the marriage not working out.
“It’s been incredibly difficult for her that Ben chose to pull away from their marriage and move on with his life, leaving her behind,” a source told People Monday.
“She didn’t want a divorce. She wanted to figure things out. They love each other. Jennifer is not the type to just give up. It’s been almost torture for her to wait around.”
Lopez and Affleck took a second shot at love in 2021 after breaking off their engagement in the early 2000s.
The “Gigli” co-stars eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022, a month before hosting their Georgia wedding ceremony.
While the pair do not have children together, they blended their families from their past marriages.
Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck shares daughters Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, and son Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
