Gabby Logan spent roughly two months preparing something vital for the live Olympics coverage, it has been revealed.

The BBC sports presenter, who has been presenting alongside Jessica Ennis-Hill and Denise Lewis, is “so organised” when preparing for her live TV appearances, reports the Telegraph.

TV presenters often rely on professionals for their on-screen outfits, but Gabby never puts off getting her clothes ready for live coverage, according to a report by The Telegraph.

“We never leave it [until the] last minute, that’s for sure,” says Charlotte Handley-Green, who has styled Gabby for two decades.

“Gabby’s so organised, we prepared for this about two months ago. I spent the whole day at her house. We try everything on and take pictures.”

Handley-Green also revealed that they often start with her existing wardrobe, reusing key pieces whenever possible.

Logan, a former international rhythmic gymnast, has presented a variety of major sports events over the years, including the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Invictus Games, the FIFA World Cup, Euros and the Six Nations.

Despite her success, she faced challenges breaking into the male-dominated industry, particularly during her pregnancy.

In 2020, it was reported that Gabby, who is married to Scottish rugby player Kenny Logan, felt that any mistake she made would be more noticeable because she “was a woman”, reports Wales Online.

She confessed to feeling out of place and even tried to hide her baby bump with clothing while presenting the Champions League Final at six months pregnant.

Despite these hurdles, Gabby has had a successful career, serving as an anchor for Amazon Prime and contributing to The Times, The Independent, The Guardian, Glamour and Stylist, according to her official website.

The sports icon has also become a spokesperson for menopause awareness and hosts a popular podcast, The Mid•Point.
