Judi Love advised her fans to protect their mental health “at all cost” in her final social media post.
Loose Women star Judi Love revealed she will be stepping away from social media following the recent wave of far-right riots across the UK.
Over 20 towns and cities faced violent devastation after the Southport stabbing which resulted in the tragic deaths of Bebe King, Alice Dasilva Aguiar and Elsie Dot Stancomb.
Before suspect, Axel Rudakubana was named, false reports of the alleged attacker being linked to Islam led to mosques and hotels used to house asylum seekers being targeted.
In its wake, took to the streets to loot shops, set cars on fire, attack police and issue death threats.
Judi was among the many celebrities to condemn the violent movement and encourage fans to “come together.”
Over a series of posts, which she also re-shared on her Instagram story, the star penned: “Is this really the UK? YES! They’ve gone back in time.
“Unfortunately there’s been years of Propaganda Inciting hatred! Never has there been a time that we NEED 2 come together!
“Whats crazy half of these people rioting for the hatred of POC, loves a curry on a Friday night!”
Judi continued: “What’s so sad is the focus of supporting a community and families that’s lost their babies in the most horrific way has been lost in this mess … We need to come together!”
“People of colour at this time need to protect their mental health.
“What people need to understand is black and brown people face racism most days, by people, directly, indirectly, passive aggressively, institutionally, systematically. And on social media.”
After stating: “It’s exhausting,” the comedian shared: “Social media break for me! Stay safe. This is crazy times, protect your mental health at all costs.
“And remember, do not let them continue to divide us,” Judi concluded.
