Duchess Catherine visited the Natural History Museum to open the Treasure Gallery. She continued her royal duties while debuting her new shiny bangs.

Duchess Catherine drew attention with her darker hair color and fresh look, seemingly inspired by styles popular in the late 1970s and early 1980s, particularly reminiscent of Farrah Fawcett.

The combination of her new hairstyle and classic green silk dress evoked memories of her mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

Duchess Catherine wore a pleated green Mulberry dress with a half-button front, belted waist and long, cinched sleeves, made from silk and decorated with Mulberry’s “Peace and Love” print. She paired the outfit with black suede Jimmy Choo Cosmic heels, a staple in her wardrobe since joining the royal family.

During a visit to the gallery, which houses some of the museum’s most notable treasures, including rare first editions of Charles Darwin’s On the Origin of Species, the Duchess spoke about how she and her husband have enjoyed previous visits to the museum.

The Natural History Museum holds special significance for the nation. This is not the first time Kate has been associated with the iconic British brand Mulberry. She continued to impress with her style in 2012, after wowing audiences in outfits by Jaeger, Jonathan Saunders and on the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee tour.

Recently, when she arrived at a small runway in Moray with Prince William, Catherine was warmly welcomed by locals and dignitaries. She wore a sleeveless navy dress by Mulberry, paired with a matching patent belt and her favourite navy platform shoes by Stuart Weitzman for Russell Bromley. When they arrived, villagers presented the couple with traditional wooden and shell wreaths.
