Rylan Clark was back on the This Morning sofa and the presenter was left gasping for air during the show as he played the bagpipes while his co-star looked less than impressed
This Morning presenter Rylan Clark landed in hot water as he attempted a stint with the bagpipes on the ITV programme.
The 35-year-old was visibly out of breath on Friday’s show (August 16), trying his hand at playing the traditional Scottish instrument. After the commercial break, viewers were assaulted by the sound akin to a screech.
Rylan’s fellow presenter Josie Gibson appeared bemused as she sat beside him during his bagpipe ordeal, questioning: “What in the world, what in the world? Welcome back to you and welcome back to Friday’s This Morning.”
Gasping for air, Rylan managed to exclaim: “I’m gonna collapse! We got loads to come now between now and 12:30, my vision has impaired!”

Rylans attempts led fans to X, formerly known as Twitter, instantly. One audience member commented: “Someone take that bagpipe off Rylan,” reports the Mirror.
Another chimed in with: “Rylan put the bagpipes away.” While a third remarked: “I can’t stand the sound of bagpipes.”
Yet another teased: “Everyone loves bagpipes… I don’t think so somehow lol.”
All this follows Rylan’s surprise moment when he blurted out, “I didn’t realise I was on telly” almost stumbling during a live airing of the show. The host seemed taken aback during the most recent episode (August 10), faced with an unexpected throwback clip from his X Factor days.

As the 2012 clip played out, viewers saw Rylan energetically singing Respect alongside two other hopefuls on the competitive show. Rylan exclaimed: “Do you know what this is… no! You’re lucky when you put picture-in-picture up I nearly said something. Didn’t realise I was on telly.”
He then shared some behind-the-scenes gossip while praising the makeup artist from his X Factor days. He added: “Second of all, make-up Bernice, she actually sewed those extensions onto a top for me for bootcamp.”
“That’s Bernice’s handiwork. This is just payback because I walk in every morning going, ‘I don’t read the briefs, I don’t read the script’ and clearly I don’t! Because I didn’t know that was happening,” he revealed.
